Texas is the largest project I’ve ever taken on as a designer, primarily because for the first two years of its life, I was the sole designer on the project. Aside from the freelancers we use for digital painting and illustration, everything graphic on Texas, in Texas and about Texas from Gun Interactive was made by me. It was an honor to be trusted so singularly with an IP I hold so dear.

All merchandise in the TCSM store was made by me, and presented us with some rad opportunities. We made a custom dry rub with a Texas-based Award Winning BBQ company; we made all sorts of bespoke merch for fans (horror nerds love weird collectibles) and really had a great time coming up with ideas to keep the brand going.

These are very special to me, as they’re the first cosmetics I designed from the ground up for our game. I was basically asked “what would it look like if The Family went to prom (in 1973)” and ran with it! Always enjoyed being forced to design in the early 70s style. Feels incredibly authentic to the source material.
